So remember me I will remember you is a beautiful verse from Surah Al-Baqarah 152. Allah (SWT) bestows His blessings and mercy upon us when we remember Him in prayers & supplications. In simple words, when we remember Allah, He remembers us.
The full verse of Fazkuruni Azkurkum Ayat in the English transliteration is as follows:
Fazkurooneee Azkurkum Washkuroo Lee Wa Laa Takfuroon
The English translation of the full verse by Saheeh International:
So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
Always be grateful & thankful to Allah!
Happiness will never come to those people who were never thankful for the blessings Allah (SWT) gave them.
Look around us… we have a home, we have transport, we have food, we have money, we have family, we have uncountable reasons to be thankful and grateful to Allah. And yet, many Muslims get busy in worldly life and forget to be grateful for all the blessings they have in their lives.
We are entitled to thank Allah SWT and express gratitude for everything He has given us in this life, on a regular basis.
In the Hadith:
Ibn ‘Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said: “Do not talk too much without remembrance of Allah. Indeed excessive talking without remembrance of Allah hardens the heart. And indeed the furthest of people from Allah is the harsh-hearted.”
– [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2411]
The best part of remembering Allah can be seen in the Hadith Qudsi mentioned below:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah the Almighty said: I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it. – [Bukhari and Muslim]

Best Way To Remember Allah If You’re Going With Busy Schedule
Although there shouldn’t be any excuse from doing Ibadah, the daily routines such as studies, work schedule, traveling, and other regular tasks can sometimes be overwhelming which keeps us busy. So how can we involve ourselves in the remembrance of Allah by keeping this busy schedule aside?
Here’s a tip by which you can involve yourself in Dhikr and gain tons of rewards from it, Insha’Allah.
All you need to do is recite Tasbeeh.
It has been mentioned in a Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari 6682 that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said there are two sentences that are very easy for the tongue to say, and very heavy in the balance (of reward), and most beloved to the Gracious Almighty.
They are…
Subhan allahi wa bihamdihi; subhan allahil azeem
This Tasbeeh is short, easy to memorize, and can be recited quickly. As it is most beloved to Allah (SWT), the rewards of this Tasbeeh are abundant.
Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, Allahuakbar is another shortest Tasbeeh and can be recited everywhere. It just takes a few minutes to recite this Tasbeeh 100 times and the benefits are abundant.
You can simply recite it while traveling, whenever you’re free at work, or free at home. You can keep the habit of reciting it whenever you can, and then you will get habituated to reciting it on a daily basis. It’s that simple!
A Muslim can also participate in any other kind of remembrance (of Dhikr) such as talking about Allah in gathering, praising Allah, making Dua, performing good tasks for the sake of Allah.
But the most important part comes with the intention. Whenever you remember Allah, make sure you remember Him through your heart. Whenever you perform Salat, make Dua, give charity, or do any kind of Dhikr, you must do it from your heart. This is what counts the most.
Fazkuruni Azkurkum, So remember Me (Allah), Allah will remember you.
