When you do a mistake knowingly or unknowingly and say sorry, your parents forgive you. Imagine the forgiveness of Allah (SWT) who is Al-Ghafoor. Dua For Forgiveness That Was Prescribed By The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

If you’ve hurt someone then be sorry before it’s too late for you to ask forgiveness from that person! If you want Allah (SWT) to forgive you, then you must be forgiven by that person at first. Do not let your ego dominate you.
Now, what should you do if you already asked for forgiveness but the person is not ready to forgive you?
Well, you shall ask again and again until the person is convinced. If still you’re not forgiven by that person then seek forgiveness from Allah (SWT). Make Dua in Tahajjud, do good deeds, give Sadaqah frequently, do whatever good you can to be on a safer side on the day of Judgement.

Apart from money, using kind words is a form of charity as well. Making someone happy, saying salaam, smiling with your parents, visiting the sick, forgiving someone, spreading knowledge, giving directions to someone on the road, and removing harmful things from the road also comes under Sadaqah (charity).
