In a Hadith Sahih al-Bukhari 3265, Abu Huraira (R.A) narrated that:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Your (ordinary) fire is one of 70 parts of the (Hell) Fire.” Someone asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) This (ordinary) fire would have been sufficient (to torture the unbelievers),” Allah’s Apostle said, “The (Hell) Fire has 69 parts more than the ordinary (worldly) fire, each part is as hot as this (worldly) fire.”

It was narrated by Anas bin Malik that:
The Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said: Whoever asks Allah (SWT) Paradise three times, Paradise says: ‘O Allah, admit him into Paradise’, and whoever seeks refuge from the Fire three times, the Fire says: ‘O Allah, save him from the Fire.’ – Tirmidhi 2572

The English translation of Allahumma Ajirni Minan Naar is:
O Allah, protect me from the Hellfire

7 Ways To Save Yourself From Hell Fire (Jahannam) With Hadith References
- Be kind to others. The Muslim who is generous, who has a good character, and kind to others, Hellfire is forbidden to him. Hadith – Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2488
- Whoever offers 4 Rakat before Dhuhr salah and 4 after it, Allah makes him prohibited from the Fire. Hadith – Sunan At-Tirmidhi 428.
- Fasting – Try to fast throughout the year, especially on Monday & Thursday. Whoever fasts a day in the way of Allah, then Allah will move his face away from the Hellfire by a distance of seventy years. Hadith – Sahih al-Bukhari 2840.
- Whoever witnesses that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger, Allah forbids the Fire from touching him. Hadith – Al-Bukhari and Muslim
- Crying in front of Allah (SWT). A man who wept out of the fear of Allah shall not enter the Fire until the milk returns to the udder. Hadith – Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 1633
- Charity – One of the best ways to get rid of all the problems in our day-to-day life is giving out charity. Charity doesn’t mean you need to spend so much money.
