Allahumma Inni As’aluka al Jannah and Allahumma Ajirni Minan Naar are powerful Duas that are recited to ask for Jannah and to ask for protection from hellfire. These short Duas are easy to memorize and are highly recommended to recite three times in a day, every day.
Let’s see a hadith regarding these Duas:
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:
“Whoever asks Allah (SWT) Paradise three times, Paradise says: ‘O Allah, admit him into Paradise’, and whoever seeks refuge from the Fire three times, the Fire says: ‘O Allah, save him from the Fire.'” – [Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2572]

What a beautiful Hadith this is… if a Muslim asks for Jannah 3 times in a day then Jannah asks Allah (SWT) to give that Muslim Jannah, Subhan’Allah. A very short and easy Dua for Jannah to be recited 3 times a day.
Well, we all know that it is not so easy to attain Jannah. But Allah (SWT) has bestowed his mercy upon us by giving us a chance of entering Jannah through plenty of different ways, Alhamdulillah.
Some of the ways to enter Jannah are mentioned below:
- Do salaam
- Do Tauba (repent to Allah (SWT)) regularly
- Offer Salah 5 times a day regularly
- Never miss a fast
- Visit a sick person
- Feed the poor & needy
- Spend in Sadaqah Jariyah (plant a tree, spend your halal money in building a Masjid, donate a Qur’an)
- Charity
- Spend quality time with your parents
- Recite Allahumma Inni As’aluka Al Jannah 3 times every day
- Memorize all the names of Allah
Many days ago I saw a WhatsApp DP which said “I don’t want money, I don’t want fame, I want the gates of Jannah calling my name”. That moment was really so satisfying to see as there are people who are focused and motivated towards their goal which is Jannah.
So, let’s make a habit of reciting Allahumma Inni As’aluka Al Jannah (Dua for Jannah) three times every day.
