Rabbana Atina Fid Dunya Dua is from the Qur’an which is mentioned in Surah Baqarah – Ayah 201. This Dua was most often supplication recited by our Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) – [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Indeed, this is one of the best Dua’s in the Qur’an that can give you success in this world and hereafter.
Don’t just make Dua to attain good things in this world. Make Dua to save us from the punishment of hellfire, to make it easy for us after death.

English Translation Of Rabbana Atina Fid Dunya Dua
“Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”

Rabbana atina fid dunya hasanataw-wa fil Aa’khirati hasanataw-wa-qina ‘azaaban-naar
Hadith Supporting This Dua
It was reported by Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) that:
The supplication most often recited by the Prophet (ﷺ) was: “Allahumma atina fid-dunya hasanatan, wa fil-akhirati hasanatan, wa qina ‘adhab-annar (O our Rubb! give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the punishment of the Fire).” – [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
As our Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) used to recite this Dua more often, we must follow this Sunnah on a regular basis for a good life in this world and hereafter.

People often give up complaining that their Dua isn’t getting accepted. Well, some of the reasons why it doesn’t get accepted are: to avoid unfortunate or undesirable situations in the future, If the person has weak Iman, is impatient, continues making sins, or consumes Haram wealth.
