Rabbana Wa Taqabbal Dua Meaning in English
The meaning of Rabbana Wa Taqabbal Dua is Our Lord! Accept my prayers.
Indeed, we’re nothing without Allah. We are nothing without His love, guidance, and His mercy. So the most important thing a believer can do is to make Dua, every single day.
Many people (who are impatient), complain that their Dua is not being answered. But they fail to understand that Allah (SWT) is As-Samee (The All-Hearing), Al-Baseer (The All-Seeing), and Al-Ghafoor (The Great Forgiver). Remember, the prayers will always be answered, all we need to do is to have Tawakkul.
Many times when prayers are not answered on time, it is because we are not doing it in the right way.
Before you make the Dua, always remember to seek forgiveness of Allah and send blessings and salutations upon the prophet Muhammad (SAWS), and end your Dua by sending blessings and salutations upon the prophet Muhammad (SAWS). Ask Allah (SWT) by calling Him by His beautiful names.
When is the best time to make Dua?
There’s a very popular Hadith which was narrated by Abu Huraira in Sahih al-Bukhari 1145:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: “Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?”
Subhan’Allah, such a beautiful Hadith this is! No matter what Dua you want to make, wake up in the night when everyone is asleep. Offer Tahajjud and invoke Allah (SWT) in the last hours of the night. Make Dua sincerely by shedding tears, and asking Allah desperately.
