4 (Four) Promises of Allah That You Should Never Forget

Only for believers, Allah almighty made 4 promises. In addition, Allah promised to reward in exchange for small acts of compassion in several Quranic verses.

Allah revealed all his commandments and gave us guidance through the stories of ancient people. Muslims get the beacon of light from those moral lessons which are presented in the Holy Qur’an.

It was a custom that the Arabic people used to swear a lot to show their truthfulness as well as their honesty. Allah Almighty also swears to keep His promises.

O humanity! Indeed, Allah’s promise is true. So do not let the life of this world deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah. – Qur’an [35:5]

Here we are going to deep dive into those promises which Allah Almighty made to the Muslims in the Holy Quran. Allah clearly said that Allah never breaks His promise because most people used to make the promises but never fulfilled them.

Four Promises of Allah That You Should Never Forget

4 Promises That Allah Made in Holy Quran

  1. The first promise of Allah is that He will surely answer your prayers.
  2. The second promise of Allah is that He will not punish those who ask Him forgiveness.
  3.  The third promise that Allah made is that if you remember him, He will not forget you.
  4. The 4th promise of Allah is if you are grateful, he will bless you more.

These are the promises that Allah Almighty made with humanity.

Allah will Answer Our Prayers

Allah is the ultimate or another name of Mercy and Generosity. Because He is the ocean of mercy so how could He forget His creatures. He promised that if we call Him or remember Him in any time of danger or in a normal situation, He will respond to us and will surely listen to our worries and prayers.

ٱدْعُونِىٓ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ

“Call upon Me, I will respond to you” – Surah Ghafir (40:60)

If We Seek Forgiveness, Allah Will Forgive Us

Being human, we are born weak by nature. And Shaytaan is born strong by nature. He strongly promises Allah that he will always try to make us fail in our good deeds. He will attack us through difficult situations, he will try to make our Emaan weak.

We need to stand strong and bear beautiful patience in times of adversity, hold on to the rope of Islam, and have firm faith in the Promises of Allah. We ought to believe and seek Allah’s Forgiveness and refuge from Shataan’s mischief.

وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

“Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness”. – Surah- Al-Anfal (8:33 Quran)

Remembrance of Allah in any Condition

We all need help at some point in our life, regardless of our qualifications and our worldly power. The same thing is true for believers, who cannot simply rely on having accepted Islam and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as Allah’s final and last Messenger; rather, they must seek the Allah Almighty’s mercy and guidance on a regular basis in order to navigate through tough situations.

Allah made a promise to us that if we remember Him in any case and in any situation, he will remember us. As we know, humans are naturally weak, hence we need Allah’s support in any situation, as previously stated.

فَٱذْكُرُونِىٓ أَذْكُرْكُم

“So remember Me; I will remember you.” – Surah Al-Baqarah (2:152).

Allah Will Bless the Grateful People

We rarely express thankfulness, despite the fact that it is the result of diligent nurturing. Do we stop to consider all of life’s free gifts which Allah Almighty has given us?

He spread greenery as a carpet and made the sky over our heads. He is only the One who is holding this sky over us. We consume air through our lungs, drink water to satisfy our thirst, and receive rain as a blessing from the sky.

By whom all of these are created? Of course, all of this is created by forces beyond our control and that power is only and only in Allah’s control.

We must express our gratitude to Allah for His infinite blessings. If we do this, we’ll definitely get more because it’s Allah’s promise to His creatures.

لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ

“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you.” – Surah Ibrahim (14:7)

Conclusion

The Muslims believe in a creator. Despite the fact that they have never seen Allah, they prostrate themselves to adore Him. They lower themselves to worship Him. They follow His instructions on what to do and not to do as He directs. Only believers possess this quality.

In this unconditional belief exchange, Allah Almighty promised them incredible heights in Heaven. In addition, Allah promised believers a large reward in exchange for small acts of compassion in several Quranic verses.
