Desire, demand, longing, and wish, are the few words that our life is never empty of. Sometimes these wishes become a mere necessity, sometimes it takes the form of a raging sea and turns into madness and dementia. Allah had taught us many Duas for these wishes. What are the beginning and end of wishes? These limits are probably different for each person. That is why everyone asks Allah to accomplish their wishes differently. So the fact is that man is related to the wishes from the moment he enters this world and this process continues until he leaves this world.
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, “If the son of Adam (the human being) had two valleys of money, he would wish for a third, for nothing can fill the belly of Adam’s son except dust, and Allah forgives him who repents to Him.”

How to Fulfill Your Wishes?
Islam is a complete code of life. It tells us all the rules of life. Islam teaches us moderation in the matter of our desires. This means that the wishes should not be so much that they exceed the Islamic limits, but only those wishes should be fulfilled which are following the principles of Islam. Islam teaches us that for every small and big wish, ask Allah for help. Even if the strap of the shoe breaks, ask Allah for it.
Transliteration: La ilaha il-lallah Wahdahu la Sharika lahu Lahu-lmulk, waLahu-l-hamd wahuwa ‘ala kullishai’in Qadir. Al hamdu lil-lahi wa subhanal-lahi wa la-ilaha il-lal-lah wa-l-lahu akbar wa la hawla Wala Quwata il-la-bil-lah.
Translation: “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He is the Only One and has no partners. For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. All the praises are for Allah. All the glories are for Allah. And none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, And Allah is great and there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allah”
The Prophet (ﷺ) “Whoever gets up at night and reads this dua and then says O Allah! Forgive me or invokes (Allah), he will be responded to and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted.”
Reference – [Sahih Bukhari, 1154]
In this dua, the praise of Allah has been described. In it, it is well stated that Allah alone is the owner of everything and He is sought for help. The virtue of this dua is also described in the hadith.
Praising Allah to Fulfill Wishes
Sometimes wishes create such a state of anxiety and apprehension in a person that he uses every legitimate and illegitimate means to achieve them. His thoughts are always waiting for him to fulfill them in some way, but these wishes of man do not leave him until death. Salvation from these wishes and the peace of man’s heart can be found only after death. If we want to complete them all, we should pray to God and read Dua to fulfill our wishes. We should praise Allah and call Him by the names that He likes.
Every one of us likes to be called by a good name and to be praised. Similarly, when a servant calls Allah by His beautiful and favorite names, Allah is also pleased. And when Allah is pleased with a servant, He fulfills his supplication.
Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’aluka anni ash-hadu an-na-ka an-tal-lah, la ilaha il-la an-tal a-ha-dus-sa-ma-dul-la-zi lam ya-lid wa lam yu-lad, wa lam ya-kul-lahu kufuwan ahad
Translation: “O Allah, I ask Thee, I bear witness that there is no god but Thou, the One, He to whom men repair, Who has not begotten and has not been begotten, and to Whom no one is equal”
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a man saying this prayer and he said: You have supplicated Allah using His Greatest Name, when asked with this name He gives, and when supplicated by this name he answers.

Controlling desires is a courageous act. It is also very important to observe whether we are using the wrong or right method to fulfill our desire. We have to remember that we have to trust Allah in every matter and ask for help only from Him.

Is it Possible to Fulfill Every Wish?
As soon as a person becomes wise, many desires increase in his life. He begins to nurture one desire after another. Even if he spends his whole life fulfilling them, he will not be able to do it, but if he starts asking Allah, then surely he can complete them easily. The best solution to fulfill all these wishes is to ask Allah with the dua that He has taught us.
Where Allah has the power to inflict wrath, Allah is also merciful. The only difference is that when a servant does something bad, he invites his wrath and when he praises him and describes his virtues, he invites his mercy. Many attributes of Allah are described in this dua. It has been fully explained that it is Allah who enjoins good and forbids evil. Asking Allah as He told us will ultimately complete our wishes.
Conclusion
Islam teaches us that no matter what the difficulty is, one should turn to Allah, but we forget and start relying on other people. We should be very careful not to seek help from anyone other than Allah and ask Him by different Duas for the fulfillment of every wish.
And most of all, do not miss your Salah. Try to improve your Salah and build a connection with Allah through Salah.
