Durood e Ibrahim is considered the most authentic and prominent Durood Shareef which is recited in Salah (prayer), after tashahhud (Attahiyat). By reciting Durood Ibrahim, we ask Allah (SWT) to send peace and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad and his family.
The full English translation is as follows:
O Allah, bestow Your favor on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as You have bestowed Your favor on Ibrahim and on the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
The best way to express your love towards our Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) is to send peace and blessings upon him, i.e. reciting Durood, every day. You can either recite the most complete and authentic Durood or the shortest one: Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammad Wa Ala Ali Muhammad.

Narrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila:
Ka`b bin ‘Ujra met me and said, “Shall I give you a present? Once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to us and we said, ‘O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) ! We know how to greet you; but how to send ‘Salat’ upon you? He said, ‘Say: Allahumma Salli ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala `Ali Muhammadin, kama sal-laita ‘ala ali Ibrahima innaka Hamidun Majid. Allahumma barik ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala ali Muhammadin, kama barakta ‘ala ali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidun Majid.”
