“Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, there is no god but Allah. And Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest and to Allah belongs all praise.”

In the case of Eid ul Adha, the Takbeer is recited after every fardh prayer commencing from the Fajr of the 9th of Dhul Hijah until after Asr of the 13th of Dhul Hijjah. Please note that it is Wajib for every adult Muslim male & female to recite this Takbeer after every fardh Salah performed with Jamaat or individually.
